American missiles have reportedly hit the Chabahar Port as the US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces continued to launch strikes on Iran for the second consecutive day.
The Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar has suffered damages after several US projectiles hit the port on Wednesday, Iranian state broadcaster IRIB has reported.
The US strikes also hit Chabahar's Vessel Traffic Control Tower, Kalantari Port as well as the electricity infrastructure in the port city located at the Gulf of Oman, according to Iranian media reports.
About half of the city reportedly suffered power outage due to US strikes.

The footage released by an OSINT account shows a loud explosion following the American strikes at the Gulf of Oman port.

CENTCOM said in a statement on Thursday that they struck "approximately 90 Iranian military targets", including air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure along Iran’s coastline. On Tuesday, US forces hit nearly 80 Iranian targets, CENTCOM said.
The US strikes follow alleged Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels near the Strait of Hormuz Marshall Islands-flagged M/T Al Rekayyat, Saudi Arabia-flagged M/T Wedyan, and Liberian-flagged M/T Cyprus Prosperity.
US President Donald Trump said at the NATO Summit in Ankara on Wednesday that the Iran-US MoU signed on 17 June was over.
"To me, I think it's over. I don't want to deal with anybody (from Iran)," Trump said during a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. However, later, Trump downplayer concerns whether the war would erupt again.
Following the expiry of the US sanctions' waiver on 26 April on Chabahar, India remains in active discussions with the US and Iran to continue its involvement in the Chabahar Port to shield millions of dollars in investments that New Delhi has poured into the project since 2016.
During a visit to Tehran last week to attend the state funeral of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Special Envoy Lieutenant General (retired) Syed Ata Hasnain, the governor of Bihar, held discussions on the strategic significance of Chabahar with the Iranian interlocutors.

That's according to footage aired on state television on Tuesday. Iranian commandos also fast-roped down from a helicopter onto the replica in the footage from the exercise called Great Prophet 14. The drill appears aimed at threatening the U.S. amid tensions between Tehran and Washington. - Sputnik India, 1920, 08.07.2026
