India has called for closer cooperation among BRICS member countries to strengthen efforts against corruption, economic crime, and the cross-border movement of illicit funds, during the second meeting of the two-day BRICS Anti-Corruption Working Group (ACWG) began in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Speaking at the second meeting of the BRICS Anti-Corruption Working Group (ACWG) in Hyderabad, Secretary of India's Department of Personnel and Training, Rachna Shah, said corruption remains a major obstacle to sustainable and inclusive development.
"No country is immune to the challenge of corruption, and no country can overcome it alone," Shah said.
