The Prime Minister of Pakistan has called upon Muslims to condemn the ongoing assault in Gaza by Israel and also expressed his sincere gratitude to Saudi Arabia for organising the OIC Extraordinary Summit.
Pakistani Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has urged Muslim nations to denounce the Israeli bombardment of Gaza with a "unified voice" during separate meetings with the envoys from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on Monday in Islamabad.

Following his meeting with the UAE's ambassador to Islamabad, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, Kakar's office released a statement stating, "The Pakistani Prime Minister urged Muslim countries to speak with a united voice to urge the international community to end the violence and brutal murder of innocent civilians in Gaza at the hands of Israeli Occupation forces."

The UAE Ambassador officially invited Kakar to attend the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference, officially known as the Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP28), which is scheduled to take place in Dubai from November 30 to December 12.

"The Ambassador stated that Pakistan was among the front-runners in climate change talks, and the UAE was optimistic that Pakistan would contribute to making COP-28 a success," PMO added, citing Al-Zaabi.

Kakar also met with Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, and expressed his "deep appreciation" for the Saudi leaders convening the OIC Extraordinary Summit earlier this month to discuss the Gaza issue.

The PMO also added that "the Saudi Ambassador reiterated Pakistan's unwavering backing for diplomatic endeavours targeted at terminating the carnage in Gaza and halting Israel's cruelty towards defenceless Palestinians."

Kakar met with the Saudi envoy during a visit to Beijing, which was part of a tour aimed at pressuring the world's largest Muslim and Arab community for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the release of humanitarian aid into the battered Palestinian enclave.
