Putin Highlights Robust Growth in Russia-India Relations Amid Global Challenges
Russian President Putin lauds India's SCO and G20 leadership, noting dynamic growth in the Russia-India strategic partnership, with increased trade and joint projects despite global challenges.
Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the results of India's chairmanship of the SCO and the G20 and stressed his conviction that "Moscow and New Delhi will continue to develop multifaceted bilateral relations and effectively coordinate efforts in the interests of strengthening security and stability at the regional and global levels," the Kremlin press service reported.
In New Year's telegrams sent to Indian President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Putin noted that the Russia-India relationship, termed a "particularly privileged strategic partnership," has seen dynamic development despite the current complex international environment.
"The telegrams addressed to the President of the Republic of India [Draupadi] Murmu and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India [Narendra] Modi note that despite the difficult international situation, the relations of a particularly privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India continue to develop dynamically," the telegram reads.
"In the outgoing year, exceptionally high rates of growth in trade turnover were achieved, joint projects in various spheres were successfully implemented," the message continued.
This acknowledgment from the Russian President underscores the strength of the Russia-India partnership and their shared commitment to addressing global challenges collaboratively.
