Imran Khan has criticized Pakistan's judicial system, while maintaining that he was framed on trumped-up charges so that he could not contest upcoming elections.
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has said the recent verdicts against him were the work of his political enemies through legal puppets.
Speaking to reporters, Khan, currently serving a three-year jail term, slammed the judges and accused them of transforming the justice system into a show.

“We will show the public in a press conference that necklace [in the Toshakhana case] based on which the conviction was made,” he was quoted as saying by the report.

The necklace, he said, was not from the Toshakhana or gift depository and a Saudi envoy had personally brought it to his residence.
Khan also emphasized that his wife Bushra Bibi had no involvement in the case.
“I did not enter politics to make deals or pursue personal gains. Involving Bushra Bibi in cases was a maneuver to tarnish my reputation," he clarified.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party founder and his wife were handed down a 14-year jail sentence by an Accountability Court (AC) in the Toshakhana case on Wednesday.
A few days earlier, a special court, established under the Official Secrets Act, sentenced Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to 10 years imprisonment for revealing state secrets in the high-profile cypher case.
Bushra Bibi had voluntarily surrendered before the accountability court in Rawalpindi after being handed a 14-year sentence in the Toshakhana case. She was later transferred to Bani Gala, Khan's Islamabad residence of, following its designation as a sub-jail.
