Iranian envoy to Kabul Hassan Kazemi Qomi has claimed that the US was fomenting trouble between Islamic neighbors – Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan at a time when the three countries were trying to resolve their border issues and making concerted efforts to prevent the spread of terrorism in the region. He alleged that Daesh* was an American proxy that was trying to disrupt security in the region. Also, the Iranian diplomat stressed that regional security alliances were crucial to maintaining peace and order in the region before highlighting that Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan should not fall prey to traps laid by enemies of these countries.Interestingly, his remarks came only weeks after Iran and Pakistan carried out tit-for-tat military precision strikes inside their territories. On the other hand, Iran held talks with Afghan authorities to resolve border issues between the two sovereign states earlier this week.*ISIS-K, Daesh (IS/ISIS/ISIL) is a terrorist organization banned in Russia and other states.

US Big Game to Sow Discord in South Asia
Relations between Asian nations Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan appeared to have gone through some frostiness over border issues in recent months.
"Today we have no doubt that Americans are seeking to exploit the lands of neighboring countries for terrorist and anti-security activities and intelligence schemes. Therefore, the necessity of security cooperation among neighboring countries including Tehran, Islamabad, and Kabul is inevitable," Qomi told reporters in the Afghan capital Kabul.
He alleged that Daesh* was an
American proxy that was trying to disrupt security in the region.
"The military invasion by America faced defeat, but their mischief has not ended. Today, the aim of America's proxy forces, meaning Daesh terrorists, is to disrupt security in the region," Qomi added.
Also, the Iranian diplomat stressed that regional security alliances were crucial to maintaining peace and order in the region before highlighting that Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan should not fall prey to traps laid by enemies of these countries.
"Regional stability and security lie in a collective movement towards security, this is a desire and necessity for all regional countries, and we must defeat the desires of enemies who seek to create conflicts between countries, insecurity, and instability in the region," Qomi concluded.
Interestingly, his remarks came only weeks after Iran and Pakistan carried out tit-for-tat military precision strikes
inside their territories.
On the other hand, Iran held talks with Afghan authorities to resolve border issues between the two sovereign states earlier this week.
